今年も、アメリカのペンシルバニア州で行われているリトルリーグ世界選手権大会が気になります。2015年度の大会で日本代表（東京北砂）が優勝しましたが、残念ながら、2016年度の大会で日本代表（調布リトルリーグ）は一回戦で敗退しました。
８月２４日の時点では準々決勝戦はこうなっていました（Little League World Series 2016: Times, TV schedule, online streaming for Wednesdayより）。
